A trip to Paris with my Mom & Nanna was a gift for my “Sweet 16” from my parents. And sweet it was …
Visiting Paris is good for the soul. There are beautiful cafes, the most iconic artwork and architecture, a bit of history in every corner, exquisite museums and monuments, shopping to find one of a kind pieces, and the richest, most wholesome food.
The must sees are the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, Musee d’Orsay, The Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Sacré-Cour to name a few.
For my foodies, Maxim’s de Paris is at the top of my list. It was my 16th birthday so I honestly tried mille-feuilles from every patisserie, restaurant and cafe in the city. I recommend you do the same. We loved the hot dogs with cheese on fresh baguettes sold in the park. We went back to that hot dog stand for seconds on more than one occasion. Talk about going rogue and never once regretting it!
Speaking of going rogue, experience the city on your own without a map for at least a day. Once you let yourself get lost in all of Paris’s charm you’ll be itching to go back again once you’re in love. That’s how I feel this very moment. It is in fact the city of love and a city I fell in love with.
Beecause I say so,
